In the beginning of August a very large group of Solar Panel people arrived and spent several days at La Jolla Mismaloya. Their choice of Puerto Vallarta in August to discuss solar heating seemed a bit odd, or perhaps they just wanted to feel the experience. One member of this party, Dan Cambern, a charter captain from Boca Grande Florida had reserved the DISCOVERY for himself and a few friends. Well, when Phil visited Dan at Happy Hour in the hotel, a frenzy happened when some big fish photos were passed around and the number of anglers tripled. |

So, the STRIKE ONE and the ANTICAPTION joined the DISCOVERY and a great day was enjoyed by a group of 26 happy fishermen. The ANTICIPATION came out on top this time with a big Sailfish and a number of Jack Crevalle, as seen in the photo above. These guys were not singing the 'Green Water Blues', rather the 'Green Face Blues'. A couple of the members succumbed to sea-sickness and the day was cut short, but with this great catch, everyone was satisfied. |
